Scarves that tell a story....
Lizzie Marinko resides in Perth, Western Australia and has been involved in various design industries for over 20 years, including a professional background in landscape architecture, graphic design, 3D special effects and set design for film. She has been creating bespoke digital artworks for private clients for over 6 years.
Every artwork is created using a digital tablet and pen and is inspired by her own imagery.
Urban Fable is born out of this passion to translate these artworks onto something tactile, soft and beautiful to wear; large-scale scarves using only the finest and softest blend of Australian Merino wool and silk.
Lizzie uses all her own imagery for inspiration; from the gritty streets of inner city life to the sublime coastal landscapes of Australia and beyond. These images are then digitally re-drawn and abstracted into a multitude of tiny shapes, creating a contemporary form of Impressionism that translate beautifully onto fabric.
